[TUT] Port Forwarding

**A Simple Portforwarding TUT**

This is to the people who don`t know how to port forward their
IP so people can access the server.

**STEPS**
1\. Go to Start Menu
2\. Search for **"cmd"** without the quotes
3\. Open CMD
4\. input **"ipconfig"** without the quotes
5\. Look for _Default Gateway and IPv4 address_
6\. Open you internet browser (with CMD still open)
7\. Input your Default Gateway into the address bar
8\. Input Your Username and Password (usually admin and pass)
9\. Look for Firewall, Security or Applications
10\. Inside any of those look for Port forwarding, Game Servers or Virtual Servers
11\. choose both TCP and UDP or Both
12\. Input your IPv4 address into the IP and your port in both ranges
13\. click ok or apply

~~This is all i have on my menu when i log into my router:

-Network
WAN
LAN
Wireless LAN
NAT
-Security
Firewall
-Advanced
Dynamic DNS
UPnP
-Maintenance
System
Logs
Tools
On firewall all it says it: (checkbox) Active Firewall

…. Where do i need to go?~~

EDIT: Found it. For anyone else with this, its under NAT.

When portforwarding you have the choice to use/open more ports. So for example you can use port 6600 to 6605\. But you probably only need one port, so just use 6600 to 6600\.

It does not work for me. I put already anything but still does not work. I put 7001 as my Port.

Anyway, the Internet Protocol I put in my configuration file was the Internet Protocol I can see at http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/ . Also, I put in the Remote Internet Protocol in the my router's Web site is the same as I put in the Local Area Network, which is the one I see in IPv4.

Please help me port forward.
