Bloodmorphed
Eh?? Ifv I get what you're saying, all the code HAS to be together for it work… Like you cant have a text document and expect it to compile that.
Repercussionist
You can't edit EO's source without vb6\. If you mean the .ini files, yes they update automatically.
janpan40
you are wrong, you can if you go to the src folder than right click one of the files "example frm_menu.frm"and click open as notepad, than you can view all the codes. learned that from codeing rsps's. Repercussionist
You still need to compile your code. Let me correct that statement. You can't successfully edit EO's source without vb6\.
Ruins of Hell
No. You CAN open it in Notepad but you CAN NOT compile it in Notepad. Only Visual Basic 6 will work, nothing else. You're not the first one to think you're a genius by using notepad.
janpan40
soul, i do not think i a genius for using notepad. accuatly i think it is a bad habit "from codeing java".I accuatly i think i am a idiot for doing that lol. Thanks for clearing me up on this topic. Ruins of Hell
No. Editing in Java still requires you to compile it in the end. Only reason java works is because of it's compiler javac, which turns it into java code.Only languages that don't require compiling are scripting languages. Last time I checked, Notepad was not a mutable source of updating and automatically compiling any sort of code. If you consider yourself any sort of coder I suggest you understand first how programs are created with code.

Programming in notepad is not a 'bad habit' from working in Java. It's a bad habit of you pretending you know more than you actually do.Use the IDE and go read tutorials like everyone else. Trying to show off to a bunch of people who _do_ actually know what they're talking about is just going to end up with you looking like a retard.
