Nighthawk0973
It's not bad quality if you run it on full screen with 720p :DThis is all a bit confusing for me, I don't know why, but I'll figure it out here… nice video, keep working on the sound quality! Also, do you need to upload the rar files to the web, or can they just be retrieved from the server folder?Edit: I'm trying to get this to work but when it says 'you client is up to date' than I click the 'Play' button and it says "Run-time error 53: File Not Found"what does it mean? My .exe file for eclipse is called 'Eclipse Origins'... does that fact that I changed the source of my game by changing client files change anything? I installed Alatars quest system. aaaron
It needs to be client.exe.

Sunku
Ok i guess some people want a step by step written tutorial as well so i will make it:>! You go into nameoffolder/updater/ then copy the files in the client folder and put them in your games client folder and you do the same with the server too i should look like this:(sorta)![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/c887ce6de6ebd91c16d6881b7877de6d.bmp)>! Then you go to webs and create a website(that's the file manager i use)then you put the update.ini in a folder you'll memorize the name of.Let's say the name is updates your website for the update url would look like http://yourwebsite.webs.com/updatesand for your new url you put your news.txt in the same folder the news one would look like this:http://yourwebsite.webs.com/updates/news.txt>! and that's the tutorial written

Whackeddie99
Does this still work? If I copy the data files from the autoupdater client, and paste it into the game client, and I replace it like you said Yes to all, I will replace frmMain for my game, no?If I do this i am fucked. Or am I wrong please answer!

Unless your Updater and your Client have the same name.Sincerely,Rithy
Whackeddie99
Rithy I meant the source folder. The autoupdaters source is called frmMain, the same as EO 2.0\. Therefore if I copy and paste, it will delete the frmMain for my game and replace it with the autoupdaters right???

Well don't paste in the Src folder. Just the data files folder and the launcher.exe
Whackeddie99
Then how will the updater read its src files? It just wont work…
Ruins of Hell
>Then how will the updater read its src filesIt doesn't. Visual Basic 6 is compiled, not interpreted. It doesn't need it's source files to operate, you can compile in one spot then move the compiled executable to the folder.
Beanie93
Just copy the files found in the Launcher's data files folder and paste onto your client's. Then, copy Launcher.exe and paste onto your client folder. You can keep the source files in another folder for when you need to edit it, etc.
