Colonello
I used to get errors like this with other engines such as a blank copy of EO 3\. Launching VB6 in administrator mode and then compiling it may fix it for you.

Kaymak
probably your registry files are not correctly registrated, you force vb6.0 to run probably but no .dll data is correct loaded. Go through google, look how to install visual basic 6 correctly so it load everything espacily mscomctl.ocx . I recomment you to reinstall your computer probably your reg data is totally destroyed by installing different things and game etc. Reinstall your computer (Win7) register all the recommented files for visual basic ( there is a reg.exe for vb6) then you install your version and everything should work fine for you (also for your projects) cause i saw you had other problems to open some vb projects. Growlith1223
Have you tried doing the same with redownloading the source? Have you modified the engine in any way possible? I can't seem to reproduce this issue so i'm not sure what the cause is. I am able to compile perfectly fine :/
