French
Hi all,First all, sorry for my bad english , english's classes in French are very shit !!At five year ago, I make a game with a derived version of Mirage (VB6). It takes 1 year to have a finished beta version. Lot of people were very exciting by testing the game, but when she beta version was up, the server crashed when just 20 or 30 people was connecting. The project was forgotten…So, I want to know if this engine, Eclipse Origin, based in Mirage's source too, can support 50 or 100 players in a server like this one : http://www.ovh.com/fr/serveurs_dedies/superplan_best_of.xmlIm working in a little project of a MMORPG about Naruto Shippuden. It is a playable version of a DS game. And I will rip all maps of the game and transfert them into my project in eclipse Origin. So, at the end, i will have more than 50 tileset. I'm care if the PC of the player cant support all them.Example :In the DS game :>! ![](http://image.jeuxvideo.com/images/ds/n/s/nsd0ds009.jpg)In my game ( I used rmxp with online script ) :>! ![](http://s4.noelshack.com/uploads/images/16045921317393_screen.png)Thx

blkcrow
does the computer you are gonna host it matters that much? i mean the eclipse server only need 15mb memory
Jeff
@blkcrow:> does the computer you are gonna host it matters that much? i mean the eclipse server only need 15mb memoryThe processor needs to be fast enough, and as you add more features and get more players it needs more RAM. Ruins of Hell
@blkcrow:> does the computer you are gonna host it matters that much? i mean the eclipse server only need 15mb memoryBandwidth is the real bottleneck. RAM matters a little, but I don't think there's any computer on the market today that couldn't handle it.
