My First Pixel Art

I dunno if it is consider as Pixel Art, but I did it by pixel xD


I was bored, anyways, I wanna learn on how to pixel art, it's my first attempt :>

There's something really wrong with his hood, and the shading seems a bit off.

Use better colors, dither it, shade it by shape instead of putting dark triangles on everything, and clean up the line art.

Don't dither, and explain better colors, and how your msg would help anyone?

First you should work a bit on the general shape of the character. A method I find easy is to sketch out the general shape your going with using a fairly darker color in your palette, then after your shape is designed start working on a pixel level. Drawing a picture with line-art is much more difficult.

You definately want to make the shadow look a bit better.
By this I mean add a variety of colours between the darkest area and the brightest blue that you want.
Also add some fold lines of a sort, because it looks kinda flat at the moment.

something about it gives me a nervous mood T_T…  nice job for you first though but why not make it walk south, north, and west as well as just making it walk east so you can demonstrate more to us

The shapes are weird, the shading is all-to-pot and the animation is really, really choppy.
