The fact that you know it's a "nub map" means you should have taken some more time to improve upon it.

Cliffs aren't that straight. Use more than one variation of plant.

Try to make it less linear. Change up the cliffs a bit. Maybe have on on the corner going at a angle instead of two perfectly straight lines.

Add more random stuff. You have to many of the same grass tiles as the mask. Add flowers, rubble and a collection of other random things. Throw a tree in to add a bit more sense of depth.
