Welcome, and don't give up! Throughout making the game, there will be learning curves, and even learning cliffs (lol). Just make sure you stay on the path and you'll eventually be where you want to be, and if you ever get stuck feel free to come back here and ask us for some help. It will only cost 15$/h (Just kidding :P)

Yes, you edit an item. There will be a drop down box with "Weapon, Armor, Currency" stuff like that. One of them is spell, once you set an item as spell and set the spell it teaches you you give yourself the item and use it. You'll then have the spell. :P

Just a little request for anyone who is posting about an error compiling the source. Post the line the error is on, and the 5 lines up-down of it so we know where to look and can easily help you.

Make sure the "Save chat logs" is checked on the server.

Sorry for the off-topic: (This is really hard to explain, but I've been meaning to do it for awhile) What I ment was, it's like eclipse has an Over-Inflated ego. That's the main reason everyone around the Mirage community hates it. (Sorry for mentioning mirage :P) But I do agree that the thousands people have put into eclipse should deserve a little credit.

You mean, like get someone else to host the server for you 24/7 so that others can connect to it? Go in recruitment and post a topic there asking for a hoster, I'm sure someone will answer. But make sure you have a game fist, because it's againsed the rules to post "I need a hoster" with no content if I remember correctly.

Mwuah, that made me laugh ;D Your code always didn't capitalize the function names right, had horrible tabbing, and variables were randomly placed and named really weird. =D I think. I'm remember everything being lowercase though and that bothered the hell out of me XD
