To run Eclipse on mac is impossible without the use of Crossover, Wine or Bootcamp. And even that may not work - as I found out :(

Well you could always attach a vent .exe in the client folder then put a shell code in VB - that'd be easy. But I think you can make a voice chat program which would come built in with your client using Winsock and TCP.

I did this at my school and I'm no admin. If you wanted to shut down your bro's computer he must be on the same network. Then just use the method in the first post. It implemented this into a VB application. Hehe, all the IT teachers at the school don't even know what Visual Basic is! It's so funny to watch everyone in the school (all the PCs are on the same network which is managed by the same server) run around like headless chickens screaming that the computers have shut down!

Re zip the client folder. Also make sure there is nothing wrong with your confq.ini.

This may be a bit drastic but… With a source edit you could close the client if say cheat engine or wpe.exe start running.

Try re-packing the client folder - it may have been corrupted.

Well it happened again. I'm pretty sure it will only appear to admins - and other people who have the access for the F1 key. Here is what I noted down (I was on a train at the time so it's not as documented as I'd have liked). "From map 16 to 17 Just edited the map properties so that the right edge went from map 16 to 17 The server had been running around 15 hours while my laptop was hibernated. You really have a lot of questions here mate. The people above have answered the first few. 4\. Your bitmap thing. To be honest it doesn't matter. I usually choose 24 type bitmap. 5\. To attack an NPC make it either 'attack when attacked' or 'attack on site'. Then place it in your map. Press the CTRL key when next to the NPC to fight it. Check out the tutorial section. Many of the Eclipse greats have posted spiffing tutorials in there which will guide you through your Eclipse journey. -Alster

I'm not using bootcamp because I got screwed when I bought my PC and got no Windows dish. Dang. I've tried with Wine and it won't install the .dlls. I've tried Crossover - a bit - and it didn't seem to work. I'll try with crossover again. See if I can have more luck.

How do you expect mappers to map and people to make items without knowing a single piece of the story. And you have not even made any maps yourself yet! It looks like you want people to make the game for you while you sit on the side lines.

Well charas lets you choose legs, shirt, head and (if I remember right) hair and then make it a sprite. I think you may need the character converter and then you can add them to a sprite sheet!
