My friend got this one… twice... except I think it was a different one 'cause it did a lot more. It somehow managed to lock the run command, taskmanager, regedit, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Anyways, he managed to dismantle it mostly by hand before getting this one anti-spyware program to work, then just used that and it cleaned up the rest. If I can remember what he used, I'll post it. It's a lot better than re-installing the OS. (trust me on this one, I had a computer that had a virus count of over 1500 and we had to re-install the OS 4 times 'cause of all the shit that was left afterwards. really sucked.)

Now, this may take too much code and have too many problems, but I've tried using scripts (didn't work) and making a new item/monster for every different combination of "icy" and "of healing" (took way too much time, and slowed the server down), but I'd have to say that having items with randomly generated modifiers, like for say in… Diablo or... pretty well most of the rpg's these days, would be awesome. And it wouldn't just work for items, you could have randomly generated named monsters too, that will appear rarely and be much more powerful, but didn't have to be an end-of-the-dungeon boss. Now I can see this making the engine really complicated, but I'm sure someone here can think of a way to make it work.

I'm really starting to dread the olympics coming to vancouver… way too much money is being spent on impressing people, and most of the olympic stuff, like seating and all, is being given to the "Olympic family" which is just a bunch of aristocratic jerks who either "run" the olympics (they pretty much do jack all) or advertise for something.

turns out the chat feature is accessable through mIRC and other programs… which is suprising considering I can never get any other web-based IRC services to work...

I agree with Soljah, the ceremonies may be spectacular, but it's not supposed to be about the host country. We spend billions of dollars on impressing others, when it should just be about sports. I mean hey, who doesn't like the awesomeness of Chinese fireworks, but it's just getting out of hand here, getting rediculusly cartoony with the flying guy lighting the torch. Speaking of sports, did you guys here that ballroom dancing may be a sport in the olympics this year?

I'm having a problem with my client. The text in the stats window is off balance. It only happened after redownloading the Client.exe to solve another bug.  Maybe some one can help me with this, but it's probably solvable by redownloading.

Hey, for some reason, an enemy in my game will sometimes drop gold, but when I pick it up it says "picked up gold(0)" and will add nothing to my inventory. One thing I don't understand is that the NPC's stats say that it will drop fruit instead of gold. Does someone know how to stop this?
