Well, I don't have any maps that are already complete. I just started a fresh project with a buddy. It was just an idea I had because mapping on a small screen is incredibly tedious. Thank god for the screenshot map button!

Find? I highly doubt I would find one. Eh, oh well. Time to continue mapping on the same sized screen. Thanks for the input though. :cheesy:

So, I was thinking about making a client with a very large screen, making it easier for mapping. If I was to do so, would the map files be the same if I used them with a client with a smaller screen? I would think that they would give me some kinda buggy maps, but I'm not for sure. Anyone have the answer? Thanks!

All I'm saying is C++ is a lot of fun and easy to learn if you can stand the mono-tone voice of this guy's tuts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyVhn0FWWB4&feature=relmfu He is very thorough and goes in depth on just about everything, definitely an excellent teacher. Other than that, I can't really tell you whether to choose C or C++ because I never really looked into C :P

It's very plain, there's not much detail. I understand it's your first map, but I would suggest looking up mapping tutorials.

Hello all, I've been coming back to the community on and off, as well as working on my game. I now have a problem that I've never encountered before and have not seen anyone else post about it. When i start the server, i get 0 CPS and when I log in on the client i get 0 FPS. I cannot move around in game, cannot teleport, attack, etc. I noticed I can equip items and they show, but besides that, can't really do anything. NPC's don't even move. I HAVE tried a vanilla version and I have tried re-installing the library files, and still no success. I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas of why it's acting like this. I recently updated to Windows 7 if that's any helpful, thanks!
