  1. the shadows could be removed until you get some engine with alpha blending. Just making it black made it look even worse.
  2. Well the site looks nice and all, but shouldn't it be "The true legends of Silkroad"? If ToxicWings is more than one person that is. Otherwise, I think it looks fine, although the whole "Copyright © 2010 Midnight. All Rights Reserved. Designed by Free CSS Templates." is quite the turnoff. Plus that gray space that it is on. 8/10
  3. I think it looks good, perhaps change the "start" into "menu" and it's fine. Perhaps you're going to have shortcuts like "i" or "b" for inventory and so on?
  4. Looks better now, although I would try and get rid of the shadows in the tileset as your engine doesnt have alpha blending(?).

  8. Chief, I am not sure how you are supposed to shade brown with that light blue of yours in the palette.
  9. If someone with a different resolution goes into that site, what would the background do? Repeat? o-o
  10. It feels like you've just sprayed 3-4 colors in paint and call it a cliff. :/ And since when are cliffs green? If it would be a tiny tiny hill, then it wouldn't be as square and also have the texture of the grass on top of it, it still would have that even if it was a cliff (if you're not gonna have all rock on top)
  11. I wonder why they removed it.. Anyway, I usually like layer masks more than cutting them out straight like that because then you can edit how it looks later if you want.

    I love the simple style on the grass and path, even without detail you managed to make it look awesome, guess it's those small details every once in a while. :P And those trees are nice, but they seem puffy to me, not like it's leaves or branches, but I like it, makes it a bit different from other trees.

I need to know if the gate looks atleast okay. What I am saying is that if you had high noon as the light source, you would not have shadows that makes it look like the light was from the front and not the top. The top part of your trees, should be the place with the highlights. if your trees are not just spray painted onto the grass. Made a 5 min edit to show you what I mean.   14. If it was high noon and your trees look like that, wouldn't your perspective be exactly the top? I got a feeling you're not going for GTA2 style here, since we can see the sides of things. And for the castle, the walls feel very repetitive. try making different patterns with the stones, you don't need to have it symmetrical all the time.

  22. Looks pretty good, although if someone were to play that for a while, they will probably get bored of the exact same colors repeating themselves over time.
  23. I usually have my light-source in the top right. The only thing that disturbs me with this house at the moment is that it seems like you just mirrored it. (Shading on left and right side are mirrored and does not follow any lightsource)
