I'd say it is. Rather than everyone buying a copy they get one and then release it themselves. Gives them the credit for what I did which is worth quite a lot. If you consider the fact that Crystalshire & Eclipse were equal to a degree in my job application then that's 3 years of student loans, debt and lost earnings I've avoided. Considering I get paid £24,000/yr and the cost of tuition alone is £9,000/yr having my name linked to Eclipse and Crystalshire has been worth at least £150,000.

It's a Brazilian board. Most of the administrators have been banned. They have a nasty habit of releasing my private stuff. Their copy of Crystalshire was leaked months before it was released to the general public.

Ahaha. My step-dad had something similar. So I moved out and now I'm developing the software he used to have to go around setting up on sites. Revenge is beautiful.

In a 30x30 map with 5 layers that's at least 72,000 calculations per loop. You either stagger it or cache it. I chose to cache it. If people want to do it a different way then so be it, but you can't take a system which is designed one way and then just dump it in to a render function and expect it to work.

It's really not that hard if you're actually frugal. I built a beast of a rig 3 years ago for just £350\. Still runs the latest releases on full settings.
