Okay here is a Little attack skill I made, tell me what you think guys! =] Btw I made several of these and they all look great!  Okayso maybe that one was kind of small… so what about a full size one? =P I also put togeher several of these aswell. Just incase.  And last this is the wallpaper/title screen for my upcoming game. Okay I found a few lines of code that shows the width and hieght of the actual window itself I believe. Direct3D_Window.Windowed = True Direct3D_Window.BackBufferWidth = 800 Direct3D_Window.BackBufferHeight = 600 I've been messing with this in both nightly and cyrstal shire. I set it higher and the graphics got tiny. =/ Not what I want at all… I just need to figure out a way to draw more tiles across a larger area of screen. So yeah what Joyce said. I love the crystal shire layout anyways.

I have tried most of the tutorials on here for the PicScreen and all that, with no success. I was wondering if anyone could help me get a fullscren version working for the 2.8 version of eclipse nightly release. To people wondering why for because of other peoples computers… I could compile a completly fullscreen version, if i knew what to change. And thus would be able to play fullscreen or winowed. My computer screen is HUGE and I'm pretty sure alot of other people out there have good sized screens these days. Most poeple I know do. I know I will have to change the GUI around and make new ones in photoshop but thats not a problem. Thank you.

Could anyone else try to at least HELP me, by pointing me in the right direction? What section of source should I edit in the new version? I'm trying to learn here… At this point I would be willing to make some graphics or pay... seriously. I don't need anymore of this "why do you want to" bull crap. Nothing ^ in that helped me one bit... you just wasted my time really. Just sayin. I can't even start on my game because of this! Thank you.

Macs do not suck! My macbook pro is the best computer hands down! Everything runs so much smoother… but yeah anyways A linux version or at least server would be nice for server hosting.

Okay I followed this tutorial to the T! I got a copy of vb6 and am really trying to do this full screen thing. Okay here is my values… MainFrm PicScreen = 1280x800 1280 x 800 /32-1 /32-1 =39 =24 Client AND Server side both compiled with ModConstants set to Public Const MAX_MAPX As Byte = 39 Public Const MAX_MAPY As Byte = 24 I got it to work with 800x640 but anything higher than that doesnt seam to work anymore... Am I just doing it wrong? What can I do to at least get this size. Thanks. Oh and when i move around in the map it still scrolls but only in that little window. Just saying. I tried increasing my map size and everything... btw this is JCS 2.8 graphicly version. dunno if that has anything to do with it either. Idk if this has anything to do with whatever but my screen is 1440x900... just saying. This is really confusing stuff. =/ Please help.

Bleh… this is whats wrong with eclipse... The forum. No one cares about anything. And you havent been productive at all. Just going on and on about what I can't do. I dont care/need to hear about your opinions. I just want to kindly ask JCS if he could do something like this. And no I cannot easily edit or anything like that... half the tutorials on here are dead/dont work so yeah. I dont own VB6 nor do I know how to program. Believe me. I would not be asking! =/ If I knew how to program I woudlnt be asking! But I will be taking a programming course sometime either this year or next hopefully.

I know this may be asking a lot. Could you possibly implement a new GUI set up like deathbeam's wtih the alpha transparent everything? His is amazing! I mean i'm not trying to complain or anything but, yeah eclipse needs a better view… its 2012 6 years later and the screen has only gotten smaller... so it seams =/ I dont understand. I love eclipse. But I need fullscreen! My players will want fullscreen. I mean no one really wants to play it in a window... yeah its good for deveoplment. Oh and the fact that you can no longer move the Admin panel window sucks... just sayin. I would try to do it myself but i am not a programmer. =[ But yeah if there is anything you could do that would be amazing! I could do the graphics part, I dont mind one bit! Oh and btw you did a great job on the fog feature! Love it!

I lost a copy of my game… yeah... i know. I thought I saved a backup, but anyways I restored my pc a few days back but the only copy of the game I have is the client so is there anyway I can take the maps from my client and use them in my server I got a few to work but then when i replace all of them I just get a run time error 9 (loading server.exe right after spells... it pops up. I do not know if that helps.) but any help would be apreciated greatly! :lol: Thanks! Well I started coping and pasting each map from my old client to my new server and i only get this error on 2 maps... even if i change the names of them to somthing else like (map62.dat i changed it to map242.dat) and it still gave an error until i replaced it with the default map... is it really corrupt? its still the same size file... 20.6kb Darc

Is there any way for a player to create there account on a webpage then they use that information to login to eclipse? ;)

I was having trouble with my computer the other day so installed AVG by grifsoft or somthing like that and it stated that Eclipse.exe and the Server.exe both had a virus… but i have other software aswell (cough cough) vbgore, playerworlds and mirage source.... and some other vb compiled stuff and all had the same virus.... My dad is being a B because of it is there anyway to keep it from showing in avg or virus programs or hiding it from them... somehow... ;) thanks in advance!

Im getting an error ever time i try to run the EE2.2 client it worked a few days ago until i installed somtihng idk but this is what is says > Error reading from config.ini Make sure all variables are valid Err: 399 Desc: Component VBMP.OCX or one of its dependancies not correctly registerd: a file is missing or invalid? So i tryed copying the VBMP.ocx to sys32 but nothing as usual… i keep geting same dang error... i even tryed deleting the font.ini :D nothing... so then i make a new folder and put a new freshly unziped client in it and still i get the same error so yeah its prolly somthing with my system.... it was working 2 days ago... i just wish i could get it working without restoring windows... So yeah if anyone has a fix ill take it! ;) im pretty sure its prolly somthing stupid tho... could having other dlls installed casue this? could i have replaced the eclipse dlls? well now i tryed somthing else i installed the library files from konfuze and now that errors gone but theres now an Error 13 type mismatch... so then i just freshly unziped another client and *pop* it works!!! but wait then i login and *pop* > error initalizing direct draw… make sure you have direct x7 or higher? I have 9.0c Error 429 Desc: Active X component cant creat object so yeah how do i fix that? _**Solution:** download "dx7vb.dll" and "VBMP.ocx" and register them.
