    Tileset

@Yukiyo: > Oh my god! These are perfect for my 24-hour project! I will most likely use them if I can get the tilesets I'm using to stop glitching. :D Good to hear :) @Draconix: > WHY ARE YOU NOT USING THESE? THESE ARE BRILLIANT. Thanks. I just got bored with them and have since made others.

Withdrawn.. ive decided to use these for a project, since a virus wiped out my new pixel art.
  7. @darkkid: > The game is called hyrule online btw ![](http://i1.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/000/015/orly.jpg) Anyway, if its zelda master quest shouldnt be hard to make a gui for it.. looks pretty basic.. im not saying ill do it i was just curious what zelda u were talkin about

    Num's Pixel Art

@Fuu: > Darn. I guess I'd better… Stop everything. > > Sword is very basic, and has a few misplaced pixels in some places. The shine is done completely wrong, and it sort of looks as if it was made of rubber. The detail on the handle is nice, I like the pattern, but it's too long in my opinion. you shouldnt stop.. u should just keep working at it til you get better
  12. @Deathbeam: > why you dont released tthis earlier :cheesy:, now i cant use this becouse im so far with my game :P If you can find out where the changes to source were made you can add it without having to redo maps etc.. I may attempt to do this myself since I also have a project already in progress

@Lumiere: > Stop talking nonsense,i wonder why YOU responded if you have no intention to help. The pot calling the kettle black.. ironic
  16. Nice job jc.. was wonderin if you plan on releasing a tutorial as well.. for those who already have a system in place..

    Cave Tileset

@Lumiere: > Yes sure ! google it you lazy ! >.> or edit /make one whyd you even respond.. he was obviously looking for alternatives to ones hes seen or has.. no need to be a douchebag
  18. pretty cool.. but the perspective of the bush thingies (top down) is different than the rest.. the bushy trees are too jagged at the top.. and the rocks have no depth.. the grass is fine, unless zelda type grass is suddenly out of style
  19. @Jungle: > I already have Massive VST, which is what most professionals use. The problem really isn't the synth, but rather the mastering and mix overall. I had lengthy discussion on the IDMForums (a music community) about what I did wrong. I basically relied on compression, distortion, reverb, and other things more than I should. The mix got extremely muddy as a result, so now it's beyond help. > > I will take the advice about the soft synth pads though. I really need some nice ambiance in there for my transitions. Massive does have some good sounds.. but to get a more professional sound its almost impossible unless you have the right platform, which is why I mentioned "program". For example I often use Fl Studio but I find the sounds blend together horribly sometimes (an added sound will drown out another and so on) .. having talked to you a bit b4 about this im assuming youre using a similiar low end production suite (from what I recall anyway).. whereas professionals often prefer Cubase or Logic, sometimes Reason which are all arguably better (especially Cubase and Logic) than Fl Studio. The vst instruments can make a difference but in the end the platform you use the virtual instruments in makes a huge difference. And even Massive is not the best virtual instrument, or digital sound, out there, it just happens to be popular. It lacks really good quality sounds (at least in my ear). Some high end midi devices like synth boards, drum machines etc plugged into Cubase or Logic can blow your mind. Then the rest is left to mastering of course. I say all this because I know that you could really kick it out, its just harder with limited production tools.
  20. @i: > No because most people duck up the tutorials when they copy and past things any way… most is kinda of an overstatement.. were not all incompetent like some n00bs.. plus if someone cant program or add a step by step tutorial i dunno how theyre gonna make a decent game anyway
  21. the bass kick needs to be way more compressed/louder.. i would add some reverb to the snare as well, or just replace it altogether since it sounds too clanky.. the transitions could also use more spunk, such as sweeps or whatever.. not bad though edit: if youre aiming to sound like arkasia ull probably want better quality sounds, and better program for one (which come at a cost as im sure you know).. but some soft sounding synth pads and trance inspired vocals would definately take it to another level
  22. The heal and trap tile anims are neat.. but I have to agree with kibbelz.. wouldnt it be better to just release tutorials.. unless youre planning on adding a lot of features it remains a very basic engine with little added benefit to someone creating a complete game
  23. I like the character customization most… is that blood all over the ground lol?
  24. @John: > Well one day Marshy Dearest, rose and i were skipping down the yellow brick road… When a massive dinosaur ran up! *RAWR!!!*. We did the same thing any other little bunnies would do and ran into the woods! > > Well we finally got away from that mean dino when out came a fellow by the name of apple blossom, she invited us to camp out with her till the coast was clear. All was fine for the night, but when we woke in the morning boy were we hungry. We searched and found we had dropped the happy sack with all our food in it back on the road! So we ate rose. Soon after those dreadful events Apple Blossom woke up to find rose half eaten, and Marshy Dearest roasting a leg in the corner! She laughed and said "Silly Gooses, you should of told me you were hungry ;)" > > She lifted up her rear end and out came a batch of pony poop. IT WAS WONDERFUL! We decided to name it candy corn. And ever since i have loved ponies :) ![](http://kistenet.com/brandon/images/Blog/2010/April/The%20Shining.jpg)
