  1. Hello Vitin, can you post the latest version please, I would like to see it. I've noticed alot of people talking about it being "to tall"…Ignore that, plenty of buildings have a tall look to them even with huge tall doors. I saw nothing wrong with the perespective over all, but perhaps a few details could be changed, (the side door, and the front trim) but I need to see a more finished version to be sure. The coloring and shading look great, top notch stuff. You just need some better art tools. Alright well I look forward to seeing more, take it easy!
  2. Not a bad style, pretty cool. I'd like to see something in this style drawn bigger. I bet you could make some really cool sprites and backgrounds if you went a little bigger…same thing for your titles, bigger bricks and why not mix it up a bit and bend/crack some of those perfectly straight lines. Alright man keep at it!
  3. Coming along very nicely. One of the more pro looking games I've seen on here. The background is really cool…look forward to seeing more.
  4. That's pro stuff man well done! Hmm I think over all his arms and legs could stand to be beefed up a bit to match the rest of the figure. Like rounder more cut shapes. I think his pose is almost exaclty like the style you were going for. Only real difference I notice is that (his) right arm is tucked in close to his side, bring that elbo out some for a more natural looking stance. Anyway that's really cool though, it looks as pro as any of the eclipse starter sprites I've seen. Alright later…
  5. I think it has alot of style, one thing to keep in mind is don't get to caught up in how it looks, because it matters if the person can simply read it or not. Make it clear first, cool second. I guess you already know that the words look like they are comming off the buttons eh? Yea you gotta work on that. (Do the letters then apply the shading, or whatever filters you are using.) Alright man keep at it. Awesome stuff.
  6. Very good stuff man. You've got your own style, let that style grow and more and more as you keep adding bits of your own unique ideas. The truth is it doesn't have to look real, it just has to look pleasing to the eye, and of course the graphics have to match. They do because you created them all, and they look smooth with your shading. Why make graphics just like VX? I say do it with your own unique style…
  7. I know plenty about image formats. However I will go read up on the forum rules.
  8. Whatdaya think? Think the words need to be bigger. I think so too. Anyone know how to actually link the image instead of it appearing under it. It's not acting right! Alright Later!
  9. Alright thank you. I guess it automatically updates other parts of the code that need to be changed to match the changes you make manually or something like that? Anyway, thank you, I'll get somehow.
  10. I see your point, he should have said 4 Direction Rows x 5 frames each…or something like that. However, this doesn't seem to work anyway. Does it matter that I popped open the file with a text editor? It shouldn't, should it? Cause I don't have VB6. Anyway soon as I changed the graphics, (the code seems to have no effect?) things became all choppy and misread just like if you select the wrong number of frames in the animation editor. It is behaving as though my changes to the code had no effect whatsoever, so it is still looking for 4 frames when there are now 5 on the graphic...it get's all confused that's what creates the chopping effect.
  11. Just a quick update to say that everything is going fine, and the next update will be posted soon. Anyone interested in teaming up should private message me.
  12. This is exactly what I'm looking for, awesome stuff. You see I wanted to make bigger people, so I needed a bigger screen. and the chatbox thing is a nice bounus. I was wondering if there is a latestversion.zip I could get a hold of? Anyway, thank you for your time, and thanks for making this.
  13. I thought it was very helpful. So please don't take it down, cause I haven't had time to mess with it yet. If it works there are all kinds of cool things I can do with that, and not just rain. You see a little programming is all you need, good artwork can take you the rest of the way.
  14. AWESOME POST! 10 out of 10\. Thank you so much for this! (No he is correct. It is 4 horizontal rows, each one now containing 5 ainmations. However when you actually start counting the rows, your mind, or finger, or whatever, is moving vertical as you count so it is very confusing.)
  15. I am actually having a problem where I cannot get the map editor to place the NPCs I make into the map. As far as I know, the way it works is you place a NPC Spawn on the map, then they should pop out. For some reason, the only NPCs I can place are the Angel NPC listed twice. No matter what I do in the NPC editor, the map editor's NPC Spawner list remains the same…Angel, listed twice. I've got a few ideas to fix this, but so far I'm stuck.
  16. Man there's alot of negativity on this board. I was just about to say that was a cool post. Thanks.
