That's actually an issue I reported but was apparently never fixed/changed. (I won't go into the details, but it serves a purpose for a future idea) We'll see if I can get it "removed" if the auto-join option is in use..

Hello, 1) You can set it to remember your server choice, meaning it will skip this screen entirely. 2) To make use of the GUI editor you need to use a Gold License. 3) To learn a spell, make sure you teach it to the player either via an item or an event.

Is it actually saving the items? May want to look at that first.

There's actually two seperate ones, one for EO 4.0 and one for EVB, but this also includes the other versions seeing as it's all visual basic.
-
Then why is this in the EO 4.0 section? Moving it.
-
That's a bitmap, it won't work in 4.0, it won't even be recognized. Are you sure that that's causing the issue?
-
Ah yes, I forgot it was used as such. I think we'd need to send in a request for this I'm afraid.

I believe you can assign sounds to weapons which will play on hit.
-
That's because we use a 4-frame format, not a 3-frame. You'll need to convert them with the tool included in the server directories.

There's various things that could have caused you to drop connection to the Auth. server for a few hours. It -is- annoying, however with the way Gold works the system makes sense. (Silver is a whole other story, a free system does not -need- to be linked to the Auth. server seeing as it does not require specific license to be active and legal)

Never never NEVER stop your firewall. Open the required ports, but don't disable the entire thing.
-
He's referring to the frame count, RMVX uses 3 frames, but EO 4.0.5 uses 4 frames. There's a sprite converter included within the server tools folder.
-
Are you running the server through the laucher to ensure it's the latest version? It won't do this unless you lose internet connection for about 2 hours.
-
It's been up for purchase on and off for about a week now.

Naughty, please look at your error log (Client > Data Files > Default > Logs > Error.log)

The closest thing to 2.0 I have is Dawn, but that's all I can offer.
-
Unfortunately the tutorials on here are for VB6, not Flash. You COULD use that as a base or inspiration for the changes though.

> I dont like 4.05, its weird, Don't know how to change sprite size for the player, stuck in VX, and its clicky everywhere, dont know how to change that. can you help me ? You can disable/change both of those. The graphics can simply be replaced, and the click-to-move is an option in the client settings, you can disable it.
-
This is because they use a slightly different format, you may need to convert them with the sprite converter (Server > Tools) or edit them manually to look right.
-
Are you sure you're running 4.0.5? I was under the impression it was fixed.
-
I told you it's as simple as replacing a few graphics. ;) Glad to see you figured it out though.

Moved to the appropriate section. And there is some, I imagine. I've not looked into Dragon Eclipse myself yet though. I imagine it's somewhere in the subs that update the item tooltip however.

Both are possible, but honestly if you need to ask what you need to do for it you may not be up to the task yourself and might need to ask someone else to do it for you. (Also note that it is NOT possible with EO4.0, it is however possible with the open source versions)
