Hey guys so, I find that it takes so long for projects to be playable im considering adding an updater and updating as people play, starting potentially with the first zone or possible 2 zones each containing 10 levels, then updating and adding as I go using an update system every week or so? what do you think?

Hi guys, so many of you know im developing my game using a modified EO3, seeing as its been around for some years, im looking for people to let me know the bugs and if fixes have been made so i can stabilize as much as possible! I have started to notice sometimes when using a spell it dosent damage although spell 1 always seems ok, healing out of combat is dodgy also, any 1 else having or had any issues?

  5. Hi guys, So things are going well and im making progress, I wanted to ask some advice on direction and preference to how you like to play. So my foundation ideas at the moment are: - New zone every 10 levels keeping quality over quantity so u don't wonder endlessly map after map. - A pvp zone similar to runescape if i recall, heading to a zone that you can open pvp - Im thinking of using 1 base town as i explained the guild base will be located in it, this is so people will stick together when gathering supplies etc What do you think? any more details would be great :)

  8. ye i know what u mean im trying to give it an underground feel rather than a cave if u know what i mean, water normally leads to greens so going with that theme. makes maps look more colorful i guess :P

  12. Hi guys, so building my game and out of the blue I am getting errors placing resources! every time i plant a tree and click send i get subscript error 9 and must remove the maps, i created same map 4 times! feeling very annoyed lol

  14. Hi guys, so I'm using eo3 to build my game, I do however have some concerns, eo3 seems like a feature free open source dx8 engine? Why is everyone not using it and looking for eo2 engines or a new engine to be released using dx8?

The idea is that you will have a base of operations in a town with a guild building to gather supplies, within that building you will be able to access the Realm of Magic that will port you to zones under threat.   18. Thanks guys, the system at the moment that i switch to for animation requires a certain format like the basic water tiles at different postions next to each other, i dont have that for this particular tile, and yes im using eo3 with worlds vx resources

  20. Hi guys, so im nearly there with engine! I just need some help with my housing, so as it stands droping furniture works like dropping items but they stay, issues with this is the firniture must be item sizes restricting types of furniture to single tiles. I was hoping from drag and drop also for walls like windows and pictures, can any 1 shed any light on how this is done or better yet contact me on skype with code to do it like eo4 :)
