No. After you set your numbers to your graphics, open up NPC editor and then use the scrollbar to select the sprite for that NPC. Then enter the rest of the detail and hit "Save". If you want to set the sprite to a player, then you hit Set Sprite after typing in the text. Also, you don't need to use the ".bmp" for setting sprites. Only the number.
