  1. It isn't too late to say I'm back… It's been a year I left wandering around learning more about game industry. Well let see what can I contribute to the community this time.
  2. thmm… I think you does not have a compiler installed. Do you download codeblock with minGW? Codeblock is just the IDE but minGW is the compiler... So that is why you cannot compile your program. Either you download the version with minGW or download the compiler yourself.

  4. Greeting Eclipse! I'm Wind Astella and yes I am the same person that had tried to make total conversion of Eclipse Origin into 3D Eclipse about a year ago. Well the project are working but it run very terribly in performance and lag a lot until I think the project is a failure and will never see any daylight of releasing(maybe in some redopository somewhere in the future). Thanks to DeathTheKid, Antho3000 and DarkMatchFlame for your support of this project a year ago… Well I abandon it after it finish. But 3DEclipse sure had given me enough knowledge for me to become a decent Blender 3D modeler, python scripter and VB6, VB.NET and c++ programmer (in an attempt to make a wrapper for the engine). So this thread is actually about a game I tried to make using 3DEclipse but I had found a more suitable engine for it using the actual asset from the original project. Yeah that is what I tried to make with 3DEclipse a years ago. Now with a real 3D engine which is open source too. I had made what I cannot pull off using 3DEclipse a year ago. With better speed, multi-platform and build for old hardware that is what 3DEclipse cannot do. Development is still going smooth with only two person involved (me and my concept artist). So why I came back? The reason I return here is because I wanted a RPG level designer (I don't mean that person had to learn using another engine of course). So here is my plan: 1\. Anyone who is interested to join does not neccesarily have to learn a new the another Level Editor. Just use what you can learn which is Eclipse built in editor. I only want the layout of the map actually. 2\. He/She will be paid after i find a proper founding(kickstarters) or after the comercial release of the game.   8. Do the community wants eclipse as single player game engine but with multiplayer support? Working on this easy solution but demanding answer for any demand on eclipse as single player game engine.
  9. Well my 3d project, did build up many argument around it but my project has other purposes too. The project do started as a school science project and eventually i was developing it since then. My project also show the possibility of developing 3d version of eclipse and at the start of the project I never intended to release it at the first place. Here is a list of rumors busted during the project. 1\. it is possible to develop 3d engine using VB6. 2\. the engine developed does not show any significant decrease in FPS. not much but it does show the rumors isn't right. It does consume more time to create the resources. The question now is should I release it or not?

Well i did recorded it last month but i doesn't have time upload that engine until today, sorry. So here is my vid.   14. this is my opinion for eo 2.0, you need to compile the client first before testing the attack animation using two client *newly compiled client because most code that has to do rendering the graphic does not need to be coded to the server.
