**Generalized Job Descriptions

_Sales :_**

Even the most accomplished salespeople face rejection on a regular basis. They need to possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be experts in customer service. Salespeople should also own at least a basic understanding of math, as they often deal with prices, deals and commissions.

They Must - Present and sell company products and services to new and current customers.

Process orders created by the client

Respond to customer emails, and inquires from live chat.

Keep track of referrals resulting from our marketing efforts

Create satisfactory client relationships.

Manage customer accounts through quality checks and follow-ups.

**_Support :_**

The position consists of supporting our client base and ensuring a positive hosting experience with Omni-Servers. You must have a An understanding of webhosting and virtualization technologies. A desire to deliver a superior customer experience. Prior Experience in providing Level 1 and Level 2 Support Ability to document processes The ability to communicate recurring issues to management.

They Must - Help clients fix issues on their Virtual Servers and Game servers and Web sites

Identify an issue that may need management attention if you are not able to fix it yourself.

Create satisfactory client relationships.

Manage customer accounts through quality checks and follow-ups.

Respond to customer emails and live chat inquires.

**_System Administration :_**

If you have this position you are responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within Omni-Labs and its network. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.

**_Software Development :_**

Must have okay social skills. Must know how to work with API's, MySQL, and SQLite. Language preferred is Java, but any language is useful!

Just so you know, your navigation goes crazy on an iPad. Might want to fix that.

1) There is a serious discrepancy between the pricing of Tier 1 and Tier 2 in relation to the pricing difference between Tier 2 and Tier 3\.

2) Please do yourself a huge favor and research why web hosts allot "unlimited" bandwidth and storage; it's called "overselling", and oversellers have very stringent contracts relating to usage (possibly described in both Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy). I highly doubt that you or your organization have the resources available to you to cover what you're offering, nor do you even have a Terms of Service available to read, and you're talking about a PR nightmare for a new start-up.

3) It looks like you have your server hosting setup (I went through the process of purchasing a game server) so I'm hoping that you have the hardware to cover purchases. I'm sure you do, but points 1 and 2 worry me a great deal. When a business has one problem area there are usually many others.

That being said I'm not sure if you want to be offering jobs to a community whose average member age is about 16 years old and subsequently to those who do not possess any credentials for the work you're requiring other than "I've been doing it as a hobby".

Good luck to you with Omni; I'm sure you'll do just fine once you actually write up a cost-benefit analysis and get some legal stuff done.

1\. That is done purposely (Sales strategy)

2\. Whenever we near our resource limit we simply buy a new server box we do not allow resources to make it past 60% use.

3\. http://omni-servers.com/tos.html (nothing about cancellation there) And btw, its not unlimited. Its Unmetered. (that's the correct term at least)

The site does need some link fixing though that I know.

Also Omni-Apps (the first start of the company) started August 30th 2010, Im sure if Omni has been running this long so far we are pretty stable. We do have a team of employees who yes our youngest is 15 and I believe as long as they are qualified, show professionalism and responsibility I see no harm in hiring those under the age of 18.
