Weird Client Glitch

HELP!

My server works fine but when I open up my client it just says (Realy quickly) "loading options" and closes! And I installed everything correctly 

Help ASAP

2\. He said that it simply closed.

3\. Not sure but not installing the run-time files will cause error during start up.

4\. If the GUI doesn't exist then it will show a message box.

The first point still stands.

well… put blood back and see if it runs. if you dont want blood in it you will need to comment out its load for it.

@ trolls above. dont post unless u will actualy help.

most likely the blood image being not there could cause it, if it the blood image being put back dont solve it. i would say try reinstalling the runtime.

gosh whenever i install the runtimes it shows a tiny bit of green, says 100% and says installing tabctl32.ocx then says its done! If that's an error please notify me  this really sucks…......and yes i put blood back  and im using EclipseVB 2.2.0

EDIT: I checked where the runtimes should be (windows,system32x) and they weren't there! So I think i should install them manually, so does anyone have the actual runtime files?

Once again what OS are you using? XP, Vista, 7, 8?

Also try a fresh version of EclipseVB

Now im using eclipse 3.0 and it says RUNTIME ERROR 429 ACTIVE X CANT CREATE OBJECT. I think were getting closer! (and im using windows 7 and yes i set the compatibility mode!)

Did you install the Run Times Files of EO 3.0?

The blood is not necessary for the game to work.

That is just the Installer registering the OCX and DLL's

Sorry I'm such a noob can you tell me how? Like where are the ones for eclipse 3.0?

abhi … u really need to learn more. some images are loaded in the start up. some things like in game buttons if theres missing or a space will cause crash with no errors, missing graphic's can do this even more so when direct x is involved.... >.> just b/c u never seen this dont mean it will not happen. >.>

now on topic, if they wernt in the folder ,,, hmm do you got this folder "System32 (if 32bit) or SYSWOW64 (if 64bit)" or this folder "SYSWOW64"near system 32 ? if you do check in there for the run times files. if you need more help pm me i got other runtime files that can patch this up. >.>

also if you got that error with eo 3.0 then its likely the eclipse installers will not be of much help. if this is the case we can try the autopatchers and older runtimes to fix you up. o-o still best to check if u got those folders

In EO all GUI is loaded directly on to the controls. If one of the GUI images is missing a clear msgbox is shown that a GUI file is missing and to reinstall the client.
