The top left 32x32 square in each tileset will be the * transparent* bit. Let me know if that isn't the problem.
Solstice
You could have explained that a bit better Matthew. What he means is:The engine automatically chooses whatever colour is in the top 32x32 square and then marks it as the transparent colour, check your tilesets to make sure the 32x32 colour is the colour you want to go transparent.Edit: I just realised you said .bmp? I don't think the .bmp format supports transparent colours. Use .png for your graphics.

Feel free to answer sooner though! ![^_^](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.png) And for the record, my engine uses .bmp for the tilesets, so using .png for the graphics would be counterproductive. Mal
Or how about we all use a graphics library that is capable of using any image format? ;O

Synergy
> >.>> > also why is everything .png if EO:ES2.3 only uses .bmp?Cause DX8 engines use .PNG, so there are both .BMP and .PNG.
