ProjectAustinGaming
I started working on a game called [Project Austin 2d World](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/index.php?/topic/133211-beta-projectaustingaming-project-austin-2d-world/). I was working on it on my main computer then my brother wanted to test my progress so he was able to join but when i got a new laptop to work on my game when i am not home My laptop could not connect i make it go through my firewall and my Norton Firewall and still nothing works. Any know how to solve this?
Greendude120
If you and your brother played from the same router, than you basicly played via lan. That's when your computers both connect to each other via your router but never use the internet. In order to let people from the internet connect, you will need to port forward your router or use hamachi.Port Forward[http://portforward.com/](http://portforward.com/)or Hamachi:[http://www.filehippo…d_hamachi/2114/](http://www.filehippo.com/download_hamachi/2114/)(note that hamachi requires both you and the players to have hamachi installed aswell)

I will do research more to see if i can get it.
Zeno
Does your laptop have an internet connection when you are trying to go on your game server? Does this also happen when you are on your home connection?Try also allowing the game to bypass firewalls on your laptop's side.
