What should i do with this error guys..?

dx8vb.dll is missing.

Google dx8vb.dll and download the dll.

to register a dll run command prompt as an administrator and;

1) type cd\

2) type cd windows

3) type cd system32

4) type regsvr32 (the path to the dll here)

it should be registered now.

Please never never never just download dll or ocx from google or somewhere else they can be packed with viruses or screw up you complete windows...

Although it is not recommended that you download dll or ocx files from the internet you can find legit copies out there. Either way, if you download the runtime files from the same site that you got the engine it should install that file for you.

CJ, do you know where i can find the dx8 runtimes installer? i cant find it anywhere ! :unsure:

And yeah, go to the download page on this site (at the top) and download any version of EO 4\. They all include the runtime installer that should work for that engine.

You can just type in Regsvr32 and the dll name. As long as the System Var PATH has the C:\Windows\System32 (Or wherever your System32 folder is located) it will register it.
