Squiddle
Ok, I only need one of the following scripts, but the higher the script number, the more happy I will be =).1\. Simply delete the collision with other players, so you can walk over them.2\. Walk over other players, AND walk over enemies.3\. Walk over other players, and only walk over enemies IF they're not attacking you, if they are, you collide with them.I need help making and implanting a scrpt like this, not sure if this is in the request script or not… please move if this is in wrong section. AdrianC
Its not a script, its a source edit. Average level.
zade_o
All of that is source. There's a thread in the source edits section that shows how to delete collision with other players and i'm sure that can be edited to fit those other ones. Squiddle
Curses, I don't use source. Does anyone know how to convert my 2.7 regular to 2.7 source without deleting all of my files?
AdrianC
Well, just download the source client, then copy all your gfx in there. After that it should work.
Squiddle
But wouldn't I have to re-make all of the maps and all of the monsters?
AdrianC
Maps are stored in the server, not the client. Well… they are stored in the client as well, but thats just there to reduce lag.
Squiddle
OK, I'll try.
AdrianC
Make sure you back up everything before starting. You don't want to screw up and lose everything.
Squiddle
Wait a sec, the fix is through the server folder, so do I fix it and then put the fixed clinet into the old one?
AdrianC
I think its in both the client and the server. What you need to do is: Back up EVERYTHING you have. Then compile a new source, and save it over your old client and over your old server. I will repeat this: Back up EVERYTHING you have.
Squiddle
Thanks, I properly converted it ^.^.

Squiddle
But, I still have the problem. That collision with other players topic is to old to post without necroposting, even though it's still on the first page, and the line it edits doesn't even exist in 2.7 apparantly. Do you know if there's a line of code that substitutes it?
AdrianC
I know I did that a while ago, and it worked with 2.7. Maybe you did something wrong.
