I have come across a new solution for people that can or do not know how to port forward. I was in search of a way to port forward or get around my ISP port blockings and found this guide that is going to become your best friend. Enjoy!

Free Dedicated Line Guide

Step 1 - Set up Relakks
Step 1 is about setting up the Relakks connection. At first you need a Relakks account (don't forget that you have to make a new account every 30 days), to sign up click [here](https://www.relakks.com/register.php?cid=gb).

![](http://bloodlustms.f-sw.com/downloads/images/screenshotva9.png)

Now just fill out the form, important is only your User name and your Password. I used asdfasdf as Name, Flav1 as User name, sadkfh@asdkhf@asd as E-Mail address, ******** as Password, just
ticked the box I am a citizen of the europeaon union if it's true or not and then clicked on the Submit button. No I have my own Relakks User name and Password for 30 days. With this data I
will now set up my connection.

(The following screenshots are made on a german computer, I hope you still understand what I'm doing…)
At first I go to my network connections and click on Neue Verbindung herstellen, it should be something like Set up a new connection in english.

![](http://bloodlustms.f-sw.com/downloads/images/screenshot2lc2.png)

Now I click on Weiter, that means Next in english. On the next "page" I choose the second, Verbindung mit dem Netzwerk am Arbeitsplatz herstellen, it should be something like Create a
connection with the network to my computer? I'm not sure, just choose the second and click Next.

Now it asked you what kind of connection you want to create, choose the second, VPN-Connection. (I think you don't need a screenshot for that) Click Next again and fill in a name for your
connection, I called mine Relakks. If you click Next again now, it asks you for the hostname or IP address which is pptp.relakks.com. Fill it in and click Next. Now you click on Fertig
stellen, that means something like Done in english.

(The following is optional, but I just can tell you that you should do it if you want Relakks to re-connect as fast as possible when it disconnects!)
Now your connection should be appeared where you find your other network connections. Now you have to connect with it one time, open it and put in your Relakks User Name and your Relakks
Password and don't forget to tick the box that it saves your data. Now do a right click on Relakks or how ever you called your connection and click on Eigenschaften, Properties in english.

Go to Options and make it so it looks like this…

…now your Relakks connection is set up and if you want to use it you only have to double click it (don't forget that it sometimes needs up to ten minutes to connect).

Step 2 - No-IP
Everytime when you connect to Relakks you get a new IP address what means that you need No-IP. No-IP gives you a host which redirects to your IP addres, it's like a new IP address. I don't
know how I should explain it to you but it's not that important.
You can sign up for No-IP here. After you signed up and activated your No-IP account you have to log in with it. When you are logged in click on Add, you find it in the category
Hosts/Redirects in the left navigation. Choose a hostname, it should be a short hostname like flav.no-ip.org. You can also choose a long hostname if you want to but then you will maybe get
problems with put it into your client. What ever, after you chose your hostname click on Create Host. Now you have to put the hostname as IP in your client config.ini and you are done!

You should use the tool No-IP DUC, install it, open it and log in everytime after you connected with Relakks. It will update the hostname everytime with your current Relakks IP address, it
will also detect if your connection disconnected or re-connected and update the hostname then.

@The:

> wouldn't it be easier to use no-ip where it's english and your account doesn't expire in 30 days?

You must have miss read, it is for people that can not because of their ISP or do not know how to port forward. This is basically a bypass since it will completely change your IP that people see you as and the IP has 0 blocked ports. You are completely wide open.

@Dr.:

> wide open sounds like we could be hacked in meer seconds.

It uses VPN, it encrypts your IP and stealths you. It is supposed to be used to surf the net privately with no limits but they do not block ports so it allows you to use it to get around your own blocked ports. In reality, it is a lot more secure then not using it.

the relakks account takes 15 seconds to set up, theres no activation required, setting up the VPN takes less than a minute to set up. Theres no sense whining about doing it when you haven't done it yet. i did it and it took less than 2 minutes to set the whole thing up. Doing this Vs. using hamachi wins any day. At least attempt it before you think its a big long process, its not.
