Thorn
it means that it's suddenly light when I get off work and hitchhike home, I say keep it.
ZelconGames
I think you'd be an idiot to get rid of daylight savings time… :P

xeross
It's so you have more daylight time. hence the name daylight saving time
Devogen
I dont particularly want to go to work in the morning in pitch blackness for starters…. and i would like to come home in daylight also....If there was no daylight saving, I fear i would go mad and cut you all, as I would have turned emo from all the night life. Soljah
Yeah, I'm not too fussed about it… If anything, I'd say keep it. If you start early enough that its dark out, even without dst in effect, you'd know what I mean. What difference is going to work an hour earlier, when its still gonna be dark, and get an extra hour in the afternoon when its light out, that you can get things done. Thorn
It's more of a tradition now I think, it lost a lot of relevance when we got electric lights and weren't constrained to only being active when the sun (or particularly bright moon) was up.
