Night mode and weather question

Is there a way to get rid of night mode or at least change the time in the game to
the right time? it's not necessary but it's just that when i need to look at my map
after editing it it just looks annoying.

Also, is there a way to change the sprites for the weather to make snow not look
like white tumbleweeds and rain not look like blue sticks of death flying at your
character?

please help.

Hi, and welcome to Eclipse!

To change the time, open your server and click the "Control Panel" tab.
In the bottom left-hand corner, you will see an area called "Time".
You can configure the time in there (it's set in 24/h time); if it's night, and you don't want it to be night at that moment, set the time to something like 1100.
Of course, you can disable the night, by clicking "Disable Time"

To edit the snow, rain, etc, go in the GFX folder of your client, and open up tiles10.bmp

You will see the white snow tile, and the rain tile.
