Eguroth Posted March 28, 2009 Author Share Posted March 28, 2009 Hey this is my first sprite ever.It took quite a long time as i was playing around with a few things and tweaking.It is based on a template on the main website "Angel_fat" I think.Anyway here it is:Please be critical and tell me how i can improve it. dray777 Posted March 28, 2009 Share Posted March 28, 2009 his legs are a bit bowed and his beard is un natural he looks like he has a unobrow and wheres his lil white ball on his hat? all easy fixes. good job if its not a template or just stoled (not saying you didnt make it im just saying a bunch of people have done stuff like that and i thinks its kinda lame.) And how could i improve the beard? It's on the main website under "Sprites" It's called "angel_fat"So, i didn't copy it. dray777 Posted March 28, 2009 Share Posted March 28, 2009 theres nothing wrong with using templates for help as long as you don't say you made them by hand like i'm in the process of catching this guy who said he made all this stuff himself but really for he sprite he just added hair and for tileset he just distorted the tileset from te to fit a sidescroller here i got a pic of what im gonna post there.  but yea i use templates sometimes cus i have trouble making a body outline. like one of my orcs, i didnt recolor a template but i took a human templet and just made an exact copy of the outline by hand except i made the best orc head ever. i need to fix the shading though cus i only used 3 colors, i digress.
