aster Posted September 9, 2013 Author Share Posted September 9, 2013 is there anyway to give a player gold = to X variableI'm messing around with 4.0 events and trying to make a stall that increaes gold every 5 seconds by 1 and then the player can collect it.edit: or even make the variable increase while you aren't on the map- Couldn't do what i wanted as of the current event system. Instead I just made it increase while player on map with parallel process and increase a var every couple seconds after var reached set amount the event wld show up.. Stein Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Since events are handled only for online players, this idea wouldn't work out I'm afraid. I could think of various ways to implement this in the old scripting engine, but not the event system. (Since it runs on a per-map and per-player basis, the player would need to be on a specific map and online for it to count up.)
