Mapping fringe problem and others

Firstly, and **mainly**-Well…,I was mapping and when I was about 90% done with the map I accidently put a tile as fringe 2 . Now I want to remove that tile but let the others remain. What exactly could I do?(please do not tell -'overlap it with another!')

Secondly- how do I use a sprite that I have got.
And could anyone give me the sprites of a gold coin?

Thirdly- how could I change the Main menu, make new account, make new character, etc. Do I need any flash or things like that to change the links and add new ones?(For e.g. if in make new character it is written select male or female, write name, and start account. To change it to something like select male or female, write name, select character sprite, select class, make account would I need flash or the likes?)

Please do not tell me view the tuts cause when I try viewing them something like this comes written: This topic seems to exceed your limits.

I am really eager to make a good game, and so would be very grateful if you could help.

(The name of my game is HellQuest:Era Of Vengeance. I would like to know if you guys like it!)

Thx a mil to everyone in advance.

Hi!
Before anything else, I'd like to be the first to welcome you to Eclipse ;)

Eclipse is a very powerful engine, and you can do just about anything.  One thing great about Eclipse, is it's easy-to-use map editor.
Okay, say you put something you don't want on fringe 2?  Simple, just right-click the tile, and it will go away, that way, if you don't want a tile down, right-clicking it will always effectively make it disappear.

Secondly, it depends on what you are using it for.  If you want to use it for items, then open up your Items.bmp (in the Client\GFX\ folder), and put it in there somewhere.  Also, if you can find it, there is a gold coin sprite already in there (it's near the bottom, you'll have better luck finding it in MS-Paint by opening up the sprite itself).

To edit the main menu area, you'll need the source code; you can download the source code off the main website, and to edit the source, you'll need Visual Basic 6.0

Tutorials:
If you're trying to get tutorials off the main site, you may get those errors; but there are an abundance of tutorials on these boards, that answer just about all those questions above.

Never stop seeking knowledge; I'll link you to some useful tutorials that you'll have the permissions to view:
http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=36286.0 << This is a list of important tutorials.
http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=36726.0 << GREAT mapping tutorial that I like, because it explains everything you need to know about the attributes, etc; I even learned some new things!
http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=38183.0 << Speaks for itself
http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=23355.0 << This is the tutorial that helps you edit your menu with VB.
These are tutorials that have personally helped me, but I'd suggest looking at as many as you need to in the http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php?board=34.0 board.

Of course, if you have any other problems, please feel free to ask for help.

Thx you really cleared up most of my doubts.

One thing-How could I get VB6?

And, you forgot to answer the last question how do you like my game name?

Because of your help I am already done with 4 maps-in hardly anytime!

Thanx again!

The only legal way of getting Visual Basic 6.0, is to buy it second-hand (eg, off eBay).
