Hrmm, Okay, I'll keep these in mind when Updating the GUI. Shading and button updating. I as well like the button big, I'll just have to make some definite changes to make it look good.

I probably shall change the font size and type as well in the mere future. I'm trying to make it look professional, and I've seen some amazing login buttons, I'm going to have to experiment, it's not THAT big, but it seems huge compared to everything else.

Yep yep :3 here's the updated font color. It's blue to match the GUI; however, dark enough that it's readable with no issues.  today or tomorrow I'll be working on more of the interface, I still need to do the make account, credits, and options features so that way they're customized and cleaned up. Then I'll be slowly dipping into the actual game interface.

The problem was I accidentally was trying to update the News.ini in the Client folder, not the Server folder, which; of course, would change back immediately after opening the client. It's resolved now :3 Thank god! I'll have an updated print screen of the font color, it's a dark blue :3

I apologize for not getting back sooner, I've been draining our neighbors internet speed for a week now, and last night he decided to cut it off on me. We're getting our own hooked up today =P. But yes, Awan you fixed the issue, I really don't understand why they put a News.ini in the client folder as well. But it is resolved, and a lot simpler than I anticipated. Thanks everyone for helping though, :3 It's amazing to know there's a community that actually is willing to help.

After creating my own custom GUI, It won't allow me to update my News.ini. I've been attempting to change the font color, and I'll enter News.ini via Notepad, change the numbers, and then save. I'll reopen Notepad to see if it saved, and of course, the changes I made are still there. Then I'll open up my Eclipse.exe, and immediately when it gets to the main menu, my font is originally back to the white font and any changes that I made were removed. Afterwards, I'll reopen my News.ini, and sure enough, everything was changed back. I don't understand the problem, it's not happening with my Data.ini folder or anything. And I didn't mess with anything coding wise in my GUI, I just moved things around via VB6. any suggestions? I'd really hate to have to completely restart Eclipse (again) for this error after the work I put into customizing it.

nope, still doesn't fix it. I changed it to white, I changed it to the color I'm wanting the News.ini to be and everything. I'll see what Hippoman said about Data.ini and see if that fixes it.

Okay, I added that bubble around the Server status. I had it stretch to the edge of the Main Menu because when it was attempting to register whether or not the server was on or not, the … made it look very unproportionate. This is also the login page, and the loading bar. All of course are working, except the ability to change ANYTHING in the News.ini. 

I've been attempting to change the color of the font in News.ini. and everytime I do so, when I open up Eclipse, it changes back to the original way, completely ignoring the fact that I made a change. And then after that if I check the News.ini AGAIN, it'll be the way it was before, I think I'm doing something wrong there, and will probably make a thread (or update the one I keep talking in) about it later in the Questions forum. As for the Server Status, That's actually what I forgot to do, and I'm extremely glad that you brought it up, I'd hate for it to of been forgotten. I'll update that small bit immediately, and show the Login screen and the loading bar as well, since i finished those too.

 Okay, new critiques are still appreciated. -Changed the size of the Login so it wasn't unnecessarily big, and centered it. -Changed the options and New account buttons so they were identical in size and didn't look crappy like before.

you're definitely right about the create new account and the options buttons, I was having extra difficultly trying to place them, but that's simple to update. I meant the login button to be big, but now after taking a nap, and coming back, I realize what you're talking about about TOO big, I can fix that too; however, I still want it to be the biggest button I have.

Mkay, but then again, FF6 sprite's eyes were always big. I'll see what I can do about it though.
