Exceed consumables' 255 cap?

Hello everyone,

I've been working on a game after buying Gold awhile ago and letting it collect virtual dust on my hard drive. So I decide to create an item, a potion to be exact, that will heal 500 HP to the user (for a laterish-game player). So naturally I change the type to consumable, and I go to set the "Add HP" amount… Though to my surprise, it maxed out at "255". I remember this issue in previous Eclipse Origins, and obviously before it could simply be fixed by opening VB and messing with some values and stuff. Sadly, due to the closed-source of EO4, I'm unable to fix it the same way as before.

So anyway, this topic can kinda double as a bug report, and a question.

**My question:**

Is there a way around this, or will I have to wait until this is fixed?

Oh also I tried searching for other topics with this issue, and I was unable to find anything so please don't flame me if there's already a topic about this.
