F0x
Disabling sound is the quickest and easiest fix
Admiral Refuge
Before disabling sound though, you can always get the correct codex and see if that fixes it.In this board, there's a topic called "Vista Fix". Download, extract, and install those runtimes, it may fix the problem.
The Oracle
you should also check that the file exists first >.<

Admiral Refuge
@The:> yeah, dont install that. it doesnt work. What, what??I use this all the time, and it works great on XP and VistaAlso ploxie, you didn't answer when I asked what operating system you have, but that looks like windows 7; did you try installing those in comparability mode or w/e it is?Also, just making sure, you did extract them to a separate folder before running them, right (as opposed to running it while it's still in the .zip file)? Also, something else to try, is playing the sound in Windows Media player, then hitting "Stop", but don't X out windows media player (just keep it minimized), then try continuing playing. The new version of Eclipse isn't using that old library for sound anymore, so just hold tight ;)

Owen F
Go to Client/Config then change these two options:Music= (change to 0\. you should turn this off if it is not playing, the same thing happened to me.)Souind = (change to 0\. Also, if none of your sounds play turn off music as well, by changing it to 0.)
