k trying it now, thx. EDIT: thank you, I thought there were multiple componets to solving the problem since there was more than one error. It works now.

Well, when I open a game (this happens with more than one game) it says: -Error reading from config.ini, re-creating file. then it says -Error loading colors.txt then -Run Time Error '339': Component 'vbmp.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. I reinstalled games, they still come up with this. Any fix? Btw I have windows vista and I reinstalled library files.

Disabling sound is the quickest and easiest fix
