Mr. G. Reaper
This might sound a little weird. :embarrassed:I had the idea to create some kind of puzzle game (hard to explain) instead of a typical MMORPG (I hate those N00b MMORPGs which all look the same without any variety, I'll create everything by myself.), therefore I won't need character stats, experience, spells or guilds and stuff like that.I'll only need the inventory (for puzzles which can only be finished with specific items), the 'Who's online ?' list (to solve puzzles together ;)), and the 'Equiped' menu …Is it possible to do that without considerable expenditure ?
DrNova
Depends how creative you can get XDThere is no reason you couldn't do it beside lack of creativity or ingenuity
The Oracle
yeah, as nova said. and with a few extremley simple source edits you can delete all the menus you dont want
Admiral Refuge
Well, I think mine is abit different ;)Anyway, the best thing about Eclipse, is how versatile it really can be.If you want to remove all that stuff, go for it; just get the source, select some buttons in vb6, and hit "delete".Most of the core can probably even be scripted (custom menus ftw?).
