Okay guys I know its going to need some work and I'm prepared for that. I am using Swords&Sworcery as inspiration because I really love the style. It's going to be for a private project I am currently working on and will begin to build as soon as Eclipse V comes out.

But until then! I really want to make the GFX myself and the GUI as well. I'll tell you a little bit about the game so you can understand the feel of it:

The game, in itself, is a very classic design. Simple Pixel interface and controls. Paying homage to traditional 8bit to 16bit RPGS. Yes, I plan on making the music myself as well (<3 garageband). There will be paperdoll items (I think that's what they are called) So being aware with how the sprites move is also very important.

I do very importantly need help with the walking and running cycle.

I want to give each sprite 3 attack frames (Combo etc.), 1 block frame (shield or weapon use), 1 hurt frame (damaged etc), 1 walking cycle, 1 running cycle, Breathing frames, and a sitting frame.

If you are at all interested in the project I am working on message me and ill share some tidbits with you ;-)

Thanks friends,

Ninja

I think it's stupid that we probably have to start all show-off threads with this line. We shouldn't have to. It should be assumed. What's up with everyone and their small niche perspectives of how art should be lately? Get over yourselves a bit.

Anyways, I really like your white character here. I think something about the contrast that you're using with the white guy works but not-so-much with the palette choice for the green armor. Maybe a slightly different color array of green would make the contrast appear less rigid? I don't know. I'd give it a shot, though! ;D
