hollywoodkid
hi ive deicided to start making a game and its going to be a turnbased game. id like to know how id go about source editting (where and how) i understand if you don't want to just give me the edits but if you can throw some links and tuts my way and kinda just get me started id appreciate it. (i have vb6)(also whenever i save a vb6 edit it never opens correctly it just opens command prompt then it disappears)

Guest
You have to build the executable. Look in the file menu for this.

Admiral Refuge
@hollywoodkid:> i get "compile error:> method or data not found. Then you're most likely either opening a file other then the project (VBP) file, or you're using portable, or w/e the version is called. Guest
Either that, or you changed the name of something in the source.

Braiton
You can0t use portable. It is missing some components. You can either buy and use Enterprise or Professional edition.
