Harris6310
I have a problem when trying to port forward. I am folowing the PortForward.com tutorial and when setting up my static IP it says write down your DNS. But my DNS is the same as my default gateway and I know that's not right. Is there anyway I can use No-ip here?
The New World
Go to No-IP .org, set one up, it'll automatically be redirecting to your static IP, so you then forward your No-IP or the static IP no-ip shows you. Or go to Ipchicken.com and that should tell you your static IP.

Harris6310
And when I make a host on No-ip what ip do I use?
The New World
It'll automatically choose your static IP so don't worry, and you can set up your no-ip name however you want.
