I was looking around the Xbox Live Marketplace the other day, and also my Dashboard. Found this in the Spotlight I think. I'm not sure about what the game is actually about.. Was there a prequel, or several Prequels to it?

I played the Demo, liked it, kind of reminds me of the Iron Man MK I suit.. As A Halo fan, you could excpect me to like both Ironman and this game…

Have your say.

Eh….I really want to like it.  But in the demo a number of problems present themselves.  The Mech is clearly anti infantry at long range, which makes mech vs mech fights very awkward.  The only way for them to kill each other is to melee, and then they both explode.

I also felt as though the HUD communicated a lot of information, but most of it was largely unnecessary.  In the middle of game, when it says "Escort the VIP" and gives me navpoints, I just continued killing the other team.  For the most part, if I just kept my killcount up, we would win.  The only vital enemy structures that were good to take out were the anti-air turrets.  On a whole, you could just run around with a an Assault Rifle / Rocket (Or Sniper) with tons of damage perks and you could pretty much take everything in the demo.

Also, taking points is kind of awkward.  First you hack them, which you need to stand still for.  Then, after it's hacked, it starts to get captured on its own, and then you don't need to stand next to it.  But then an enemy  can diffuse it, and then after it's defused a timer starts, and then it starts to get captured, unless you diffuse the diffuser.  If you really think about it, it actually makes sense, but the learning curve for casual players is something the developers should take into consideration.

I'm sure the retail version will be better balanced (More vehicles and whatnot), but the demo really didn't sell me.  I really wanted to like it though, it had that awesome Tribes-ish feeling to it.

@oOlKinglOo:

> Not at all, tribes was great, but if you think about it every game's ideas had to come from somewhere, and most of everything has been done already.

Yeah but there comes a certain point when its a copy.. and when its using an idea based on something else.
There is a difference.

But yeah as i said.. having a tribes like game on Xbox isint a bad thing O_o.
