Jax_Dragon
I've been watching a Let's Play of Call of Cthulhu for a couple days now. I was intrigued by the fact there was a story with the same name. After doing some research I found out about this book called the Necronomiocon. While that book is about $100, the Necronomicon Spellbook(by the same author) is only $8\. After reading some reviews I am thoroughly spooked. I want to buy this book but I'm just a tad superstitious, if any of you could convince my my fear is severely misplaced, I really want to read this book. While I'm not satanic, I do enjoy a good horror story.PS Please don't turn this thread into a "emo/devil flame thread".
balliztik1
Lovecraft is a great writer. If you like Edgar Allen Poe, this guy's right up there with him, except with a more bizarre twist. I've read a collection of his works and loved all of them. However, this Necronomicon Spellbook doesn't look like a story, if you ask me. Sounds like an occult text, assuming you mean this: http://www.amazon.com/Necronomicon-Spellbook-Simon/dp/0380731126

Havox
Be sure to read some experiences people had with that book before purchasing. It is some crazy shit. I personally went to chapters along with my friend who told me about it to buy one, but they didnt have one >.>
Jax_Dragon
I looked up experiences and seeing as anyone who owns this book has very weird occurrences, I'm not going to get it. I'm very paranoid and would most likely begin imagining things.
