Robin
If it's just black, go into the source and find:```VerProcess = 0```Replace the 0 with 2, which should load as software rendering.
evilbunnie
Nope still black. But the FPS went up by
Robin
Yeah, software rendering is generally faster. Doesn't like zbuffering though, apparently.
Robin
Alright, worked it out.Software rendering doesn't load due to the z-buffering and onboard graphics can't handle the video rendering.Try setting it to 1 for mixed. ;P
Anna Comnena
64 FPS and wouldn't budge. Maybe I should actually install some video card drivers. XD
Robin
:PWell, it's only rendering a couple of things at the moment. Now I've got it working I'm currently implementing it into a copy of EO, so I'll release a new test for you tomorrow possibly, with a fully functional DX8 client. Hattivatti
It was capped at 64 FPS so I removed Sleep 1 just before DoEvents on GameLoop. Homicidal Monkey
you can get even more fps if you remove all of the "doevents". But why would you want to do that?
Robin
Yeah, because letting Windows process stuff is for idiots.
