I'm making a CHIBI diablo in Java.

Recommended Posts

•All attacks have a range, eg a barbarians move "cleave" (trying not to rip diablo off too much..) would have a range of 20 units (probably pixels) which would be translated into 1 yard.
•No targets are set, a spell would go directly in front of the character in a line (or depending on the spell) and damage the first target in its way (depending on spell.. could hit multiples)
•Energy bar (100%) - effects running/walking like diablo but would recharge 1% per second walking and 3% per second stationary. Also effects melee moves. Spellcasters will use this as well. The name won't be "energy" for every class though, spellcasters it will be either "mana", "spirit" or "charge"

I want it to be a very skill-based game where you don't count on gear to be the best - gear is a result of being the best.
