jna
I got a person in town that can maybe get them. Forget about getting them now. Just need recommendations on what to get.
Robin
I have no idea about any decent retailers in the US. Find non-mainstream ones which trade exclusively online; They're always cheaper.Don't be afraid to buy second hand. I got a nice e4700 for £50 second hand! £70 saving compared to if I'd bought it new.

Homicidal Monkey
Elitegroup has some good ones. Having "the best" motherboard is not a necessity.
IceCream Tuesday
Well.. Brands I'd recommend for a motherboard are, EVGA(just not the nforce 780i, mines broken far to many times), Asus, Gigabyte(has been my most enduring one so far). Other ones aren't so great. Main question though.. Intel or AMD?

HappyBoy
I'm actually just looking @ a dedicated server, which is the best of that site and looking for those parts :)QUESTION:I don't want to make a whole new topic for this, but I'm having a quite old PC here (not this one) and I'm wondering that if I'd upgrade it with new parts… does the Motherboard mather much? (I know the CPU does, so I'm buying that anyway :p)
jna
What games would I be able to play if to the computer in OP I added a 512 or 1gb nvidia video card. Don't ask me for model because all they told me is that its either a 512 or 1gb.
Rithy58
Built your own computer is the best deal.I recommend :Processor : AMD Dual Core or Intel Dual/Quad CoreRAM : 2 or 4GBHard Drive : 120+ GB, 7,200 or 10,000 RPM or Solid StateGraphic Card : nVidia GeForce 9600 GT or 9800 GTPower Supply(I always forget about it and have to replace it) : more than 400WI suggest you use Windows XP if you have 2GB RAM and Windows 7 if you have 4GB RAMAnd also, I'm 13 and I have a PayPal account. Verified and completely legal. I even have their MasterCard(Debit).I recommend newegg.comSincerely,Rithy
