With Vest,Pants,Shoes and Gloves:
With a ninja mask and two kitanas:

Its pretty good though. Use more shading and make a light source.

What you're missing, Is shading. Not only that, The colors are a bit odd.

Take a look at this:


Mine on the left, Yours on the right.

See the difference? Feel free to use mine as a reference. I'm actually a Spriter myself, Although I usually don't use Eclipse style.

But anyways, You have potential, Just need practice.

Your shading is a bad example for a spriter, the sprite is pretty pillow shaded unless the light source is straight infront. Look at some tutorials in Graphic Tutorials it's not hard mate.

It's a draft. Plus have you seen the size of the body? If you attempt to shade that as it is, It's not going to turn out nice. Look at my avatar, It's from scratch. All of it. So I know what I'm doing :P
