Origins doesn't have scripting.

I suggest you have a copy of vb6 to change stuff around. As for the GUI, it's stored in the /GUI/ folder and can easily be swapped out for another image. You do need access to vb6 to re-arrange the controls, however.

I'm really not sure. I've probably changed the UDT for pretty much all the data.

I don't see why you'd want to. WN comes with hundreds of modifications which makes for interesting new development options.

For example, why would you want to port your maps across now you have access to autotiles?

Well, if your game is active and has around 100 maps already you would want to keep them, redoing them all would delay the release of your game, etc.

I'm afraid that's your problem, not mine.

Re-doing the maps in the new version gives you the ability to make much higher-quality maps giving you access to autotiles, new layer styles and dynamic animation placement.

I'm not going to create a converter which pretty much blocks off access to new features.

Exactly. Im going to have about 5 weeks until I buy, so Id like to get started on some devolpment..besides I have over 102 mapsmapped and hundreds of npcs.

I've said many times in the Origins thread that anything you do will probably be incompatible with later versions. WN is no different.

No. The only things you can buy at the moment are WN and Amazing Package.

I'm spending all my programming time getting the new EO out at the moment. Once it's done, I'll be writing up a plethora of brand-new highly requested features to replace all the current shop items and I'll be setting up a special Christmas discount as well.
