**First download the 2 attachments, and put them in the src folder of the client, overwrite the one allready there.

Then add the files to the project, by clicking in project browser on the right side, and choose add> existing file, and add modDxShow.**

I can't see any files.

Sir, please, refer to this: http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/index.php?/topic/113011-dont-know-the-answer-dont-reply/

They are completely compatible. I do not see why you people are obsessed with an old broken music format that no one publishes music in. BASS has hundreds of functionality improvements and maybe if you didn't blindly post without actually checking BASS you might've known that.

DX7's sound format doesn't support MP3\. So this topic. And all this tutorial does is add another library. Rather than adding another one (which might be crappy) you would be better off with BASS which is better.

> **BASS** is an audio library for use in software on several platforms. Its purpose is to provide developers with powerful and efficient sample, stream (MP3, MP2, MP1, OGG, WAV, AIFF, custom generated, and more via OS codecs and [add-ons](http://www.un4seen.com/bass.html#addons)), MOD music (XM, IT, S3M, MOD, MTM, UMX), MO3 music (MP3/OGG compressed MODs), and recording functions. All in a compact DLL that won't bloat your distribution.

> C/C++, Delphi, Visual Basic, and MASM APIs are provided, with several examples to get you started. [.Net and other APIs](http://www.un4seen.com/bass.html#apis) are also available.

I never said anything midi being supported/not supported. I realise it isn't supported but the only reason you FMOD fanboys still use it is because it supports it and for that reason alone.

i was only one to Give the fmod pointer look a page back. many still use mdi files since theres many and not lienced mess… >.>

now on topic abhi u need to think before you add bass has some stuff that is good. but if they want to keep the mdi files there gonna need to add a addon.... and not everyone IS programming talented todo this. so since 80% of those looking for mp3 support and wanna keep there mdi files use Fmod . if ur ok with losing them use bass.

EDIT

not only person to offer fmod solution,

> Why not adding direct FMoD ? xD If you need an Tutorial tell me
