fafioso
Hey guys! Well i was wondering since a long time how and why nobody has incorpored a j-rpg combat system in a custom version yet. I read a few posts but nothing really interesting about that.I personnaly am a big fan of the first fanal fantasy opus and i'd very enjoy create a game with this combat system. I know it demands a lot of work but hey, if you're codder and have no idea xD Let me know!I really think that would be a powerful tool to have the choice between "normal" combat system and turn by turn system :)Well let me know your comments ;)Bye!PS:Sry for my english :)
hisherwin
They are lazy to change the whole battle system of a base engine that is currently posted in here
Helladen
We would have to redesign the combat code, to allow easy implementation of custom battle systems before anyone would dare to want to do it. It's just not that compelling to do.
Dr.House
Been suggested a long time ago and a few times, low chances they will add it.Even paid they won't do a great job, or just half of it, even that, with bugs, flying around
Helladen
I will try to come up with a more dynamic feature system for Eclipse Worlds. To make customizing it easy and not requiring effort in the source-code. I just want to focus on the current battlesystem right now and make it good before really striving to add more.
