Miniroo92
Hi, I wasn't sure if this was the right forum to post in but the other didn't really seem appropriate. I am looking for something to unzip my .bas and other src files so that i can add new features but my computer says that it doesn't understand the problem and it can't do anything. I have a win7 computer if that's any help. Is there a particular program that I need to edit these files to add, a quest system etc.
Yxxe
What do you mean by unzip your .bas files? Just open the project file and edit the source code from there.
The New World
To edit your '*.bas' files you need to open them within the program that does I/O for their format. In this case, the Visual Basic 6.0 IDE. Which is a discontinued IDE by Microsoft. It can still however, be obtained. But you're on your own for that one.Once you have the VB6 IDE installed and running on your box, you can edit the Eclipse Origins source code by opening the client and server project files, which link together all the '*.bas' and '*.frm' and possibly '*.frx' files.
